Sticky Chilli Glazed Sausages recipe

Sausages are coated in a sweet, spicy and sticky chilli sauce in this easy chilli glazed sausages recipe. This uses mostly store-cupboard ingredients, making it nice and cheap too.

Ingredients:

  • 12 large pork sausages
  • 4 tbsp. tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. clear runny honey
  • 1 tbsp. chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Good pinch dried oregano

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 200C. Arrange the sausages in a foil-lined roasting tin and bake for about 10 minutes, turning over halfway through cooking.

  2. Meanwhile, mix the ketchup, honey, chilli, water, garlic and oregano. Pour the mixture over the sausages and bake for 30 minutes. Serve.

You could use chilli flakes instead of chilli powder for extra kick, or reduce the amount of chilli powder if you don't like your food too spicy. This recipe serves 6.

Made this for the family today - they all agreed it was delicious. My daughter said they were the best sausages she'd ever had.
